Information
Information for Presenters
- Facilities available for Presentations at the Venue
Please note that only Power-Point (please use 97 - 2003 format rather than 2007) will be available for presentations, there will be no OHP (Over Head Projection/Slide) facilities. You will be allocated a 35 minute session for your presentation which should include 10 -15 minutes for discussion time. We recommend that you bring your presentation on memory stick/USB pen as a back up.
- Handouts or full papers for your presentation
It is up to presenters whether s/he would like to distribute extra printed materials at your presentation. Please note that in such a case an individual presenter will be responsible for printing and distributing the materials.
- E-version of full paper
Full papers from all presenters will be uploaded to the EASP website before the conference. The access password will be notified only for the conference delegates.
Poster Presentation
Presenters in poster session need to bring the poster with you to the conference (maximum A1 size). You will receive board number at the registration in the conference venue then you can display your poster on the board. There is separate poster session, so conference delegates have opportunity to have a look and you can deal with questions from them whilst standing beside the poster.
Access to the Venue and Hotels
Manchester, Leeds/Bradford and Nottingham East Midlands airports are all about an hour's travel time from Sheffield.
Both London airports (Heathrow and Gatwick) are reasonably accessible by rail with just one change of train. We recommend you to allow at least four hours travel time between either of these airports and Sheffield.
